HAILONGTUN FORTRESSES World Cultural Heritage Site
As the first World Cultural Heritage in Guizhou, Hailongtun Fortresses is an archaeological site representing domains of the highest-ranking Tusi (the hereditary tribal headman). lt is also the best-preserved relic of a medieval castle in China, even in Asia. The ramparts. gate passes, rock passages, and the layout of the castle have been well preserved, just like what they looked like in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

1️⃣The nine gate passes, with their boundary walls, had been built along those magnificent fortresses. The whole length of the nine passes stretches out more than five kilometers. What's more, administration areas, specific places to drill soldiers, and other buildings were also built at the top of the fortresses.
2️⃣Hailongtun Fortresses Scenic Area is mainly composed of the following core scenic spots: Hailongtun Fortresses, Bozhou Tusi Ancient City and Chuanqi Xingkong Campground Hotel.
Along the ancient road in Hailongtun Fortresses, you can enjoy the unique scenery of Tongzhu Pass, Tiezhu Pass, and Feihu Pass. ln the Bozhou Tusi Ancient City, there are diverse parts that provide a comprehensive service to you, such as the visitor center, the Museum of Tusi, specific high streets, and so on. In the Chuangi Xingkong Campground Hotel, 71 splendid camps have been prepared for you to enjoy the excitement and happiness of camping.
